You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information.

Information From Partners or Other Sources

We may receive limited information from home warranty partners or other service partners when needed to provide Tendr services and when the homeowner has authorized the disclosure. This may include name, mobile phone number, warranty enrollment details, claim information, property or appliance information, and SMS consent records.

We do not use partner-provided mobile phone numbers to send Tendr SMS messages unless the homeowner has opted in to receive Tendr SMS messages.

Sensitive Information

We do not intentionally collect or process sensitive personal information such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, health diagnoses, biometric identifiers, or precise geolocation data.

2. SMS Messaging, Consent, and Mobile Data Privacy

In short: Tendr sends SMS messages only to users who have opted in. SMS consent is optional, and mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared for marketing or promotional purposes.

How Users Opt In to SMS Messages

Users opt in to Tendr SMS messages through a clear consent process, such as an online enrollment form, partner enrollment form, or another approved consent flow that identifies Tendr and explains the types of messages the user will receive. The SMS consent checkbox must be optional and must not be preselected.

The opt-in disclosure explains that the user agrees to receive SMS messages from Tendr related to warranty coverage questions, claim support, claim status updates, home maintenance reminders, and related product recommendations. The disclosure also states that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, users may reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel, and consent is not required to purchase or use warranty services.

SMS Message Types

  • Warranty coverage question responses
  • Claim opening support and claim status updates
  • Home maintenance reminders
  • Service-related account or support messages
  • Relevant product recommendations related to home maintenance or warranty support

Message Frequency, Rates, Help, and Opt-Out

Message frequency varies based on your use of Tendr, your warranty or claim activity, and your home maintenance reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP, STOPALL, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, or REVOKE to opt out of SMS messages. After you opt out, you may receive a confirmation message, and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

No Sale or Sharing of Mobile Data or SMS Consent

Tendr does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, SMS consent records, or text messaging originator opt-in data with third parties, affiliates, lead generators, or marketing partners for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are used only to provide, operate, support, and improve Tendr SMS services, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain opt-in and opt-out records, and deliver messages requested or authorized by the user.

Information sharing with subcontractors or service providers is permitted only when necessary to support Tendr services, such as telecommunications delivery, customer support, cloud hosting, security, data storage, or technical operations. These service providers are not permitted to use mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Artificial Intelligence-Based Products

In short: Tendr uses artificial intelligence to help answer questions, assist with home maintenance, and support warranty-related requests.

As part of the Services, Tendr may use AI technologies, machine learning, or similar tools. We may process user inputs, outputs, SMS messages, home system details, warranty information, and related personal information through AI service providers to provide Tendr responses and support features.

When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process personal information, we will delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You should use Tendr only within a secure environment and avoid sending information that is not needed for your request.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to children under 18 years of age. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, contact us at support@trytendr.org.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, a copy of personal information you provided, or withdrawal of consent.

You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any Tendr SMS message. You may also contact us at support@trytendr.org. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, and we may retain limited information as needed to honor your opt-out request, comply with law, or maintain security.

If you have questions about your privacy rights, contact us at support@trytendr.org.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
